Lynn Eib

LYNN EIB is an award-winning newspaper journalist-turned author-speaker, who describes herself as a
“passionate encourager, but always a truth-teller.” Lynn has encouraged hundreds of thousands of folks
on unwanted journeys with cancer, serious illness, and grief, as she shares true stories of hurting people,
who have found hope and peace in spite of their circumstances.
After her colon cancer diagnosis in 1990 at the age of 36, Lynn worked for nearly two decades in a
unique position as a patient advocate in her oncologist’s office, offering emotional and spiritual support
to cancer patients and their caregivers.
Her first book, When God & Cancer Meet, has more than 100,000 copies in print in three languages. Lynn
has six titles with Tyndale House Publishers, including 50 Days of Hope and Peace in the Face of Cancer,
which was named the Golden Scroll 2017 Nonfiction Book of the Year. She also wrote the inspirational
commentary in the He Cares New Testament with Psalms & Proverbs, for those facing chronic or serious
illness.
Readers of her books feel as if they have their own patient advocate right beside them—sometimes
holding their hands and at other times providing a humorous diversion, but always pointing them to a
loving God who will see them through.
